Workshops

I offer workshops to local photographers through the local Ottawa Photography-Model Meetup group. Most are offered on alternating Wednesday nights throughout the year but I occasionally run weekend workshops. For examples of previous workshops, check out the Workshops gallery.

The Wednesday Night Workshops consist of a single paid model hired for a 2-hour session and two photographers who each pay for 1 hour of the model's time. I only hire models that I have worked with on a TF (Trade For) basis, or have met through other Meetups. Typical rates are:

• $30/hour for glamour, portrait, and pinup
• $40/hour for lingerie, boudoir, and implied nudes
• $50/hour for nudes (partial or total)

All Wednesday Night Workshops take place in my home studio and are run from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Models and photographers arrive between 7:00 and 7:30 to be prepared to start at 7:30. Each session generally consists of two 1-hour sets, each with a different look related to the theme of the session. The session ends between 9:30 and 10:00.

Weekend workshops generally involve 3 or more photographers, depending on the venue. They can be paid or TF depending on the concept.

Portfolio-building

If you are interested in working with me to add to your portfolio, contact me by email. All portfolio-building photoshoots are on a strictly TF (Trade For) basis and I only work with models 18 years of age or older. Previous portfolio-building photoshoots can be seen in the Archives gallery.

I require a meeting before working with any model. The model is welcome (and encouraged) to bring an escort. To set up a meeting, provide me with a valid email address to which I will reply with a booking time and date, as well as the location of the studio. At any time you can confirm your booking date and time on the calender. A reminder will be automatically sent to the email address provided 24 hours before the meeting. Please notify me immediately if you cannot make the meeting.

Once we have met and decided on a date and theme for a photoshoot, you will be sent an email confirming the time, date, location, and theme. Once again, you can confirm your booking date and time on the calender. A reminder will be sent to the email address you provided 24 hours before the photoshoot. Please notify me immediately if you cannot make the meeting. We will also exchange cell numbers so that in the event of an emergency each of us can contact the other by text or voice.

An electronic non-commercial TF model release will be provided at each portfolio-building photoshoot. Inform me in advance if you require a paper model release. A single "teaser" will be posted to social media, such as Facebook, within 24 hours unless otherwise stated. The remaining images will be posted to a password-locked Proof directory within 1 to 2 weeks depending on my current workload. Simple images are generally completed within 2 weeks, depending on the number being processed, while those requiring significant photo-manipulation may require up to 4 weeks. You can then review the images and decide which may be made public. You will be provided with full-resolution JPG images unless you specify another format (such as TIF). The best images may be posted to social media and aggregators including Tumblr.

A ZIP archive of all images from your photoshoot can be provided. You will be provided with an access code after which you will have two weeks to use the access code to download the archive before the access code becomes invalid.

Escorts

Escorts for photoshoots are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the type of shoot and escort your are requesting to bring. Some restrictions may be placed on the type of escort depending on the photoshoot theme. Escorts who are disruptive or otherwise affecting the mood of the photoshoot will be asked to leave.
