Leg and Foot Posing Rules
Point your Toes
Pointed toes will make your legs seem longer and more elegant, and cuts down on unsightly sharp angles. The female model is typically going for smooth curves so avoid creating sharp angles, particularly with feet and hands.
Weight on the Back Leg
As you do the slight turn of the upper body, keep the weight on your back leg. That way you can bend or extend the front leg as needed for the pose. As you do this, you will find the body naturally turns slightly to the camera.
Also, drop the hip closest the to camera, which will smooth the side and avoid skin bunching at the waist where it can be seen by the camera.
